About Us

Emerge is a non-profit organization that helps people in the Kingdom of Eswatini, Africa improve their quality of life by providing hands-on professional training, character development, mentorship and life coaching. Emerge is divided into two factions – apprenticeship and mentorship with both programs aiming to meet the needs of the country by investing in the lives of young adults through learning a skill, applying that knowledge and then teaching others.

Why we did it

After 20 years of working at various orphanages and rehabilitation centers in Eswatini, Africa, we launched Emerge. We saw a desperate need to reach those who needed a second chance in life so we opened up our home and began welcoming people and investing in whatever way we could. Not only were these young adults desperate for affection and guidance, they needed to be inspired and their mindsets needed be challenged. We started brainstorming on how we could help them holistically and that’s when Emerge officially became a reality.

Musa

Having grown up on the streets of Eswatini himself, Musa is committed to investing in the next generation just as others invested in him by providing practical and professional training, character development, spiritual guidance and overall support. He has a true and deep passion to help people reach their full potential.

Waheedah

Waheedah’s passion can be found in motivating young ladies to make the best of their lives despite what is happening around them. By partnering with existing groups and individuals geared to reaching women of all ages and raising up exceptional leaders, Waheedah’s goal is to tackle the silent giants of depression, suicide and overall mental health in women groups in Eswatini.

God has blessed us with two beautiful children. Elihle Gavriella (5) and Bhekive Alexander “BK” (4 months). We believe in doing ministry together as a family. Often times our children will join us in our fellowship meals, home visits, celebrations and even sometimes in prayer. We already have a backup vocalist in Elihle and a man of peace in Bhekive. In hopes of alleviating the child led homes that have ravished Ewsatini and snatched the hope of many, we have also recently joined a small number of individuals who are helping lead the way in the, first of its kind, foster care program. Our hope is to one day adopt. So more children will be joining our house soon.

The task is great and the need is there…
